What’s New in the Top Bar?

1. Home Icon (Left Side)

  • A Home icon is now present on the far left of the top bar.

  • Clicking the Home icon will return you to the main dashboard.

2. Personalized Welcome Message

  • Next to the Home icon, you’ll see a message: Hello, [First Name]!

  • The system uses only the first part of your name for a personal touch.

3. Search Box (Center)

  • A search box is centered in the top bar.

  • Enter your query and press Enter; search results will open in a new browser tab.

  • The search uses the following pattern: https://support.centage.com/hc/en-us/search?utf8=✓&query={your_query}

4. Plan Selector Dropdown (Right Side)

  • On the right, you’ll find a dropdown menu to select your current plan.

  • This dropdown was previously on the home page and is now more accessible in the top bar.

  • Selecting a plan updates your context throughout the application.

5. Help Message (Bottom of the Page)

  • At the bottom center of the page, a help message provides a direct link to support: Submit a request

  • This message is similar to those found in other wizards (e.g., spread methods).

How to Use the New Top Bar

  1. Navigate Home: Click the Home icon at any time to return to your dashboard.

  2. See Your Welcome Message: Your first name will be displayed next to the Home icon.

   3. Search for Help:

  • Type your question or keyword in the search box.

  • Press Enter to view results in a new tab.

  • Special characters and empty queries are handled gracefully.

  1. Switch Plans:

    • Use the dropdown on the right to change your active plan.

    • Your selection updates your profile and available features.

  2. Get Help:

    • Click the help link at the bottom of the page to submit a support request.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

  • If the plan selector does not update your profile or available features, try refreshing the page.

  • For issues with search results or special characters, ensure your query is correctly entered.

  • If you encounter any problems, use the help link at the bottom of the page to contact support.
