Managing Data Update Rules

Follow

You can update your company’s data in Planning Maestro by uploading new CIF (Centage Integration Format) Files with the necessary changes.

Example.png Example: If your company adds a new office, you can add the office as a new Member to your Base Structure Members file, and then re-upload your CIF Files to start budgeting for the new office in Planning Maestro.

Occasionally, you might want changes to Base Structures to be approved before they take effect in Planning Maestro. You can set up your account so that Planning Maestro accepts all changes, denies all changes, or waits for approval before implementing changes.

This document shows you, a Planning Maestro user, how to set up your data update rules in Planning Maestro.

Locating Data Update Rules

To manage your data update rules, open the Data Modeler module, connect to your Profile, and click on the Source Data icon ( Source_data.png ).

If you chose Wait for user input on changes for either section, the first user to open the Data Modeler after the changes must approve the changes.
